Work is busy and is making me feel a bit run down of late. No time for the free gym provided by work and not leaving myself enough time to cook healthy food. Too much snacking for my own good. Also feeling a bit vague and down. My life is pretty good at the moment so i'm not sure where this is coming from

I am repainting my Skaven army. I finished a lovely chapel last month (will upload photos to Facebook!) and now I'm making my army more "me-ish" - pink and purple. Right now I'm working on my Plague Assassin, and the purple really suits him.

I'm also supposed to be painting some 40k scenery, but I'm not, because I'd rather do pink and purple rats, tbh. You should come play with us sometime - you can fight Gaz's pansy pink plague marines :D

That sounds like fun. I have my orks, some elfdar, tyranids and Space Wolves, Oh My!

I really like the poison wind globadiers. I bought one cos i wanted to paint it. I reckon my painting is good enough now to give it another crack.

Just let me know when you're free, we usually play at least once a weekend (I am surrounded by huge nerds). The poison wind globadiers are very cool models - I don't really have any Clan Skryre yet, but I have BIG PLANS. We have painting sessions too, if you're ever keen :)

While I generally try to stay away from GW products, I have been coerced into playing Blood Bowl and am therefore painting a bunch of Purple Lizardmen. Aside from that, there's always my still unfinished Mercenaries for WarMachine and a bunch of Reaper models I have because they're just such nice sculpts to paint.

if you're nearer the city, check out Battle Bunker. It's got great tables, lots of space and is run by an avid wargamer, which means it opens late and stays open.

The hobby I'm working on now is in a different strain of nerdy . . . trying to get a game I designed around Christmas up and running. It's a mobile phone game; turn-based strategy/puzzle, kind of like a hexagonal cross between carcassonne and bejeweled :D

I'm trying to finish off a cross stitch that I promised to Lucas' Mum two christmases ago. I hope to get it completed before I leave and I'm well on track.
