I get a lot of things wrong and one of the most prominent seems to be every time I try to define any social justice terms other than those in common usage or those that relate directly to my cis-centric, ableist, privileged experience, I get many things wrong

I think it's wonderful Julia Gillard is being recognised as the first female PM and being sworn in by the first female Governor General. What isn't wonderful is what I've been hearing about how and why it happened.

Something I often notice in society is how almost everything is divided in terms of two options. You're either for or against the plan, you think something is good or it isn't. 3.2 km due to a tram having to stop for an accident on the way home, 1.2 km to get to ephant's to go walking for 21.5 km. We managed to get lost early on and add an extra .5 km and founf our way back to the trail ( Read more... )
