Lucretia and the baby are asleep in bed. I stand back look and think one of the worlds cutest site and my god the baby snores like a chaff cutter. I love being a Dad. -

I'm having a problem with our worm farm again this year. It starting to get too hot again. The farm is an old 300 litre fridge with the guts removed and a couple of holes in the back ( now the bottom). Part of the problem is what we give the worms to eat. Its the old paper cat litter that has been composted with garden waste for several months ( Read more... ) -
I like fish
Yes I know 2 posts in two days. It's all Liluri fault "you have such a great Lj name use it" so a ranting I shall go. Well not quite. I read an article in Grass roots on aquaponics, this is where you grown plant in hydroponic beds and fish in a tank. Went to Amarillion and PRK's Wedding yesterday had a great time and they both looked fantastic. Thank you both so much for the invite. -

The working week has almost finished, look it's 5.30 pm on Sunday. Just in time to start a new one, Oh goody. God i'm looking forward to a weekend off soon. But it's not all bad as much has been achieve this weekend. The spa is now fully functional, it's huge 2.3m x 2.3m by 0.9 deep. And there was much rejoicing and champagne. Worms are Good
We planted a veggie garden the other week. I cheated and went and brought seedlings as it was a bit late in the season to start from seed. On saturday we got our first lot of basil, had brucetta ( too much onion but not bad). The soil all came from a worm farm we put in motion 6 months ago.
