please tell me someone remembers seeing this video when we were little. they just showed it on vh1 and it made my day.

spring break officially begins at 2pm today. yay. i'd be lying if i didn't say i was super excited. the plans:
1 beach house
2 loaded cars
3 girls
4 boys
5 days of beautiful south padre, tx.
4 days of driving
3 ipods
2 coloring books
1 amazing spring break

it's supposed to be eighty degrees and sunny the whole time we are there. yessssss...

this weekend so far:
*played with two precious kids
*went to a beautiful wedding
*feel asleep watching movies
*seeing the lovely allison
*no class on monday- mlk day

a few tid bits:

*i feel like most of my past relationships have been reduced to group gatherings where everyone sums up the past 6-12 months in 5 minutes or less.  this is a little unsettling, however not unexpected.  i have another one to look forward to tomorrow. yesterday i saw pride and prejudice for the 2nd time in one week. and i bought the soundtrack. i think it may be safe to say that this is one of my favorite movies ever. and i got to write a paper about the type of dancing that took place in p & p. so as far as my favorite book is concerned, its been a blissful past few days ( Read more... )

an unexpected conversation brought joy to my life this morning.

ps- belmont has had a cs lewis confrence this weekend...i know, you are all jealous.

i'm coming home on thursday.
and i'm pretty darn excited about it.
i'm going to be very disappointed if it is not a breath of fresh air.
but i know it will be.
not that i don't love my life here.
it's just good to have a break sometimes.

have you ever had so much to do that you feel physically heavy and find it difficult to breathe? oh, you haven't? yeah, me neither...

it's amazing that no matter what time of year it is, christmas music will invariably make me happy.
