The whole point of this entry was to post this poem, so I don't think I'll clutter it with end of semester thoughts. Except: Good decisions. All of them, really.
This [poem] is because I'm not going home this summer. And maybe because Ann Arbor is suddenly only part of home.
It snowed in Michigan last Friday. Sudden, deep, annoying snow that was a bit too much for the honda I was driving. I had to camp out at an old family friend's house and wait for it to stop. Does anyone else think Wintry Mix sounds like a snack food? Like Chex Mix, or Trail Mix. And wouldn't life be so much better if yogurt covered pretzels, dried cranberries, and pecans were falling from the sky instead of this nasty nasty sleet/snow/hahahafuckyoulovenature shit?
