Never say never

Feels like a pretty crappy week for our little LJ community. Crap. I really thought Helen's cancer was survivable. She was stage III at presentation and there was a lot of hope after her surgery and initial chemo. Her cancer recurred early and then took over her body with a vengeance. Really the emperor of all maladies (http://video.pbs.org/Read more... )

Not a lot of good going on right now.

I tried to let Noodle run because he's only 11.5" tall. Um yeah, he has a stop now. Why run through it when you can leap! Ha! Little poop!

Seems like something Noodle would choose to do :)

It is a day you'll never forget, and hopefully, one my generation will only have "one" of those. I was a junior at school, and had my 2nd date with my future fiancee. Woke up that morning, didn't have a TV, but my roommate heard it on the radio. She told me about it, and I just refused to watch the videos for years afterwards. Crazy.

Question about your 2 turns - am I right in seeing that you have one verbal for run the board but you'll be turning off of it (chuck chuck?) and one to collect on the board plus a turn (cik cik?)? Kona (and you) are pretty fabulous to watch. Seeing your hair made me realize I haven't seen you in forever. Boo!

I know, haven't seen you for a long time! I don't blame you for not watching the videos.

Yes, commands are straight ahead full extension, stop, turn away and turn toward, because why make things simple, haha.

Maybe not simple, but pretty brilliant.

It was sort of creepy in Riverside, but when you get to Pasadena and there is no traffic it's super creepy.
