This is amazing. This whole day has been amazing. I am having such a good day that I am pretty sure a piano will fall out of the sky and kill me tomorrow but WHO CARES. -

Dad: Okay, so I'll have some errands I need people to do today. Not as many as most years. But I'll need somebody in the kitchen between the service and dinner. And somebody will need to get the presents out of the boat.
Sister: You put presents in the boat?!
Brother: It's his sleigh.

I keep forgetting that I should never, ever read the comments on online news articles. Today I read an article in the National Review Online that challenged my assumptions about the character of that publication and its readership, and I reevaluated some things and decided I had perhaps been unfairly prejudiced and should attempt to read NRO more ( Read more... ) -
Potentially cool thing
I just discovered an organization called A Million Thanks which collects letters of support you write to current and former members of the military and delivers them to troops as sort of a random act of kindness thing.
