my grandmother's funeral was friday. the whole thing was really surreal and seeing her sisters so upset was very sad. i feel like everyone was really shocked and shook uput i don't feel at all shocked...i have felt certain she was going to die "soon" since may.

and because of this my sister was in dc for five days, which was actually nice.

friday is my only day off this week.
and i have gossip girl season 2 sitting in my mailbox right at this moment just waiting for tomorrow. how can i be expected to do any actual work today with the excitement that looms in the air?
