As I will be graduating at the end of the fall 2008 semester, there are several things I need to do to prepare myself to apply for graduate school.  I can't apply for CA because I won't be at school in the spring.  I'm moving off-campus at the end of the semester.  I'm going to take Latin, and perhaps one or two other courses, over the summer

A little piece of advice (from someone far smarter and established than I am) about being an academic:

"If we are granted health, luck, and sanity, the full arc of an academic career is 50 years, not 15 weeks."

Sanity is the elusive one. (Bet you didn't see that one coming.)
