I had a 1997 Premier Cru Raveneau (with some oysters) and it changed my life.  :)  It's a great article, though I find it to be quite the Raveneau cheerleader... it's a wine that deserves the hype.

If there was a thing such as pie heaven, last night was it.

I started off making a large batch of pie dough, with the intention of baking 4 individual pot pies.  I braised some chicken in just chicken stock with a bay leaf, then diced it for the pie.  Sauteed carrots, onions, celery and mushroom were also added, and a nice thick chicken gravy held ( Read more... )
