Aldaily.com posted a link to an article in Edge, where 100 intellectuals were asked what they were optimistic about for the future. This Winter Quarter is the first in which I'm not taking a philosophy class. This stands in stark contrast to my finally officially declaring a Philosophy major the first week of classes. Since I've been feeling less compelled to write in this thing every day (here I'm referring to some particularly nauseating periods of high school), I'm quitting livejournal indefinitely.
