A friend and I used to argue about social issues (thank goodness we both grew out of it!), and he used to say that if I couldn't answer his questions in a yes or no fasion that I was avoiding the issue. I just never agreed that he was asking the right questions. Plus I hate to lose ;).

I have attended events where we received ribbons to wear (or not) that indicated personal information such as availability, orientation, etc. I naturally wore all of them (several were contradictory). People who encountered me exercised their imaginations in so many ways to try to figure out what statement I was making.
