On the horizon

France-bound
Not yet, of course. We leave in just over 5 weeks, but I'm definitely getting excited! It suddenly seems really real, since Raye and Candace just sent us links to a couple places we'll be staying. I think the idea is to stay in Paris for about a week, renting out a flat owned by a friend of a friend. From all accounts, it's small, but is in a ( Read more... ) -
Excitement

Good Things
Ok...I am super excited to be going to France, but here's another place I want to go to someday. It's called Giraffe Manor, so named because there's a friendly herd of giraffes on the premises, and it looks like they're curious and not very concerned with guests' privacy. I so want to wake up to a giraffe batting her eyelashes at me. Adorable.

Mass Effect 2 (no spoilers)
I just finished last night. The game is amazing - it has the best storyline and most realistic characters of any game I've played, I think. I also like that there are minor differences in game play (or npc reaction) to you depending on choices you made in the previous game.
