Is this handwash available in the US? Or, is it similar to the antibacterial handwashes we can find here? I know hospitals use those antibacterial hand lotions at every doorway, so would that stuff work?

If you're paranoid, mix yourself a concoction containing bleach. Nothing, including the natural germs on your skin will survive.
