Junkyards are wonderful things, you can find parts there, but you can also find truth.

I used to go to McHugh's out in Concord years ago and park with the battered '80's Rangers, Dodge Colts, and the Honda wearing two space saver spares and the caved in door from its latest dui adventure. The entire place had a sense of desperation to it, hanging ( Read more... )

This is the only possible rationale why my beaten and tired silver Fiero sits outside still. It's old and worn, engine clattering from wear, marked with the scars of less than perfect piloting on my part. Too many memories to let her go.

So now it's getting a worked over drivetrain that'll cost more than bluebook value, and a makeover... And I'll have not an ounce of regret!
