I have a dentist appointment today at 5, and it's overshadowing my whole day.  I know it's very common to hate and avoid going to the dentist, but that doesn't make me feel better.

Yeah, I give that guy a thumbs-up too, in both the "good dentist" and the "easy on the eyes" departments.

I completely sympathize - I have the same problem with post-dental work pain and sensitivity, but it has reduced over time. And by time, I mean counting in years.

So, it wasn't bad! The cleaning hurt because I hadn't had one in 2 years (because I was freaked out about going back to the dentist), but the dentist himself, Dr. Clancy (in Medford Square on High St), was gentle and earnest and nice. It was expensive since I don't have health insurance, but it could have been a lot worse and included xrays. Hooray!
