Well, as the heading tells ... I have finished the 2006-2007 ATA tournament year as Arkansas State Champion in forms and sparring. Next year (this year) I'll try adding weapons to it ... a triple crown would be nice.

We went to Conway yesterday to see Dani and some of her fellow students perform in an opera variety program. They did selections from Faust, The Marriage of Figaro, the Barber of Seville, Der Rosenkavalier, Don Pasquale, Manon and the Bartered Bride. I haven't written anything in my journal for a bit ... too busy ... too distracted ... too something... but it's time to catch up and get back after it. It was a busy summer. Amazing. It's been a month since I was here. Time does fly. March 5th was the annual Little Rock Marathon. It is now a qualifier for the Boston Marathon, so there were even more entrants this year. Dani called me a couple of weeks ago and said that she and Keith had tickets to the opera and he couldn't go ... did I want to go with her. So, of course, I went.
