Now that I have time this Summer, I could come help you move things around if you need any help.
I can *really* relate to having all that old computer hardware around. I *still* have a lot of old computer hardware lying about after getting rid of dozens and dozens of them. My best wishes (and congratulations!) on cleaning some clutter away. It feels so good.
Yep. I am now able to write productively again. It's been several years since I was able to write expressively in more than a few simple sentences at a time. I have not even been able to write gaming material. Have had to dictate gaming material to Dwarf. I am often able to talk out the subject matter but not write it. It is a difficulty caused partially by medication, and partially by mild cognitive problems I've had since childhood.
Brain to hand expression has always been difficult for me. Drawing and writing are things I can do only sporadically. One of my current medications has the wonderful side effect of making me lose words, mostly nouns. So writing is a way I can engage in cognitive stretching. But only when I can get the brain to make the hands express words on a keyboard. I can type much more easily than I can write cursive.
