Twenty-Seventh Entry

The trip to the ballet was both pleasant and unexpected, though delayed by Quatre's happy awakening and my desire to visit him. It is such a relief to see him on the mend! I have no words.

The Nutcracker was particularly unique this year; it seems that Adrienne has given free rein to some new choreographers in the planning of the showcased ballets ( Read more... )

Don't your friends at the Butterfly practice capoeira? That's a martial arts dance form, isn't it?

:P Yeah, but ballet is French and sissy-fiedelegant. I was not expecting it to be interpretive, not life-like.
