well, i was accepted into the university of pittsburgh before i went insane and didnt go and traveled the country. wellllll after talking with my boyfriend, we both decided that the most logical and financially responsible (two traits i'm really not known for) thing to do would be to move to pittsburgh and THEN move out west.
that would be beyond amazing. we're probably moving when our lease is up in june, i think. i want a reasonably sized house with good people. last i remember, you're vegan, which is perfect because i don't think i could have non-vegans living in my house. i know that sounds weird, but cheese and cookies easily tempt me, and if our housemate had it laying around, gahhh.
yeah, i've been vegan for the better part of four or five years (6 months spent as an omnivore when i was on tour/lazy did me years of damage and i will never ever ever ever eat anything that comes from an animal again!) and i'm an awesome/creative housemate who smells bad but is very friendly and can play ukulele well enough to give lessons!
i am v. serious & also my friend chris who does Adrian Aardvark (we_were_hard) and i were talking about moving somewhere when i hit the homeless mark, so it could be a mass migration!
i've been vegan for a little less than a year, but vegetarian for a while. Dustin, my boyfriend/partner in crime, has been vegan for nearly three years. In November, we had a lot of slip-ups (we started eating out a lot, and not being so strict about making sure the "veggie" burgers were vegan and if the sauce had cheese, and we actually reached a low point and bought cheese sticks), but we're on track again for the most part
( ... )
oh when you come back you should try to get an apartment relatively close to campus. i'm commuting to pitt sometimes twice a day and it suuuuuckss. i'm lucky if i make it to class 1/4 of the time
people are so dumb. luckily, i'm not the only one who thinks she's a moron. the people i work with are really down to earth and cool, and everyone is sick of her already. i guess she kind of called my assistant manager fat? weirddd girl.
i know!!!! it's ironic because the things that are tested on animals have so many chemicals they're worse for you. not to mention some of these chemicals were made or not put in use until like 10 or less years ago, so they don't even know the long term effects. especially when they test on animals with shorter life spans than humans. ridiculous!!
