#9 is interesting, especially in light of your LARPing hobby. Hmmmmm.

I think that's the reason that larping is so appealing to me, honestly. It's physical activity that requires skill and tactics, but there isn't really a winner or a loser. Being cut down in battle and hamming up the moment can be just as much fun, and many times moreso, as surviving can be.

Admittedly there are some who see it as a competition and get a bit more enthusiastic about things than I do, but that's their things, and it rarely affects my gameplay.

And you're right, of course. When I posted, I was thinking of the big field battle from my last LARP session. :) The other stuff is more fun for me, as well.
