OMFG: Captain America - The Winter Soldier
I finally managed to watch Captain America yesterday and it blew me away! I loved the movie, the conspiracies, the plots within plots, the special effects, even the fighting scenes which usually are boring to me were great ( Read more... ) -
Not too long now
The RL work project that has been consuming my life for the last months will soon be over. Just one more week to bear, and I hope to have more time to pursue my hobbies once again ( Read more... ) -

This is the first year ever I haven't been in the mood for carnival. My friends were surprised when I turned down the offers to go out with them today, but I was just happy to head home after noon and enjoy the free half day. You can like or dislike carnival if you live in Rheinland, but man you sure gotta love all those extra free days no one else ( Read more... ) -
Where did February go?
February has been kind of a pain, as far as RL work goes, and I'll be glad when is over. And yet, there is still so much to do that I start hyperventilating when I remember the month has only five days left. Not enough time by far to get all the things done I need to get done. On writing ... or lack thereof
For all my good intentions, I've haven't been able to write much since the year began. Too much work in RL with really long hours. By the time I come home is already late in the evening, and I lack the energy to sit down and write. And yet, I keep thinking that those are just excuses. Tuesday's reading ... let's mix up
I discovered this great app called audiobooks, which offers podcasts of books in the public domain and decided to try it out. One of the reasons the amount of books I read has gone down so dramatically over the last years is lack of time. Right ... that resolution thing
I'm really not very good with sticking to the whole New Years Resolutions thingamajigs, but hope springs eternal.
So, things I would like to do in 2014 that I have a chance of achieving ... maybe:
- write at least 100.000 words (I don't care if it all in one big story or in a bunch of smaller ones)
