I believe we have a winner of an idea, courtesy of my beloved. As I said before, we're not partying type people who love lots of alcohol and dancing. Nothing wrong with that but it's just not usYesterday, during lunch with David, he suggested bowling. Which I think sounds like a very good idea. It's something we both like and enjoy and it would be ( Read more... )

Bowling! I'd never have thought of that, but what a lovely idea! What fun!

Lol! What a cute note!

I agree, that is a very good idea. :-) Hmmmm. Not sure I want to stand out that much at the bowling alley, but it would be so cute. I'll have to think about it. See if there's something a little more discreet we can wear that says "Bride" and "Groom". :-D

All that planning... Gosh, will you be glad it's all over when it's over! ;-)

I do kinda like the planning, it's fun to think of all the possibilities and making this day the special day I want it to be.

But you're right... it will be a relief to not have to worry about details anymore.

But what's most important when it's over... We'll be married!!!!! I just want to be married to my darling beloved.

The note is beyond adorable. I loves him so much.

I do worry that there may be some people who'll hate the bowling but......... I hope not. I hope that just by doing something more fun and slightly out of bounds for a wedding will be fun even for people who don't like bowling. I mean, even if they don't want to bowl... they can sit there and enjoy the company of people and a fun atmosphere while having some snacks.

It seems like you're going to be rushed. If you start bowling at 1300 and the receptions at 1600? Not alot of time in between and you'll probably be worried about making it to the reception on time.

It's your day tho...and if you want people to wait for you...it's your call!

That David story is sooo cute!

I know, I am concerned about being rushed... but we'll see what we can do to make it work.

I don't think people will wind up waiting too long. We'll have everything ready for us to just zip home, change, then hit the road. And changing back into our outfits for dinner won't take too long either.
