A friend emailed me about doing a recipe exchange with some of her friends and I took the bait... here's the recipe I sent. My recipe email bounced to the person on the email you sent me. I think your red cabbage creation sounds neat, and I know I can get Gala's here, so it's not a Michigan thing.

I goofed... I put that person's email as name@hotmail.com instead of name@gmail.com. :(

I don't know how many people I emailed tried to send to her or not, but you and one other person told me it didn't work so far... that's what I get for trying to multitask or something... :(

The red cabbage mix is good for my tastes :) I gave my mom some last night... I'm curious to see what she thinks of it, too. Think I made it last Monday and the apples still are looking ok... this is a good thing. :) Might be interesting with tarter Granny Smith apples too... hrm...

I keep this recipe on my desktop just for these requests:

WIENER WATER SOUP

1 pkg. wieners
3 c. water
Combine wieners and water in a two quart saucepan. Bring to a boil until
wieners are cooked. Throw the wieners in the garbage. Serve soup. Serves
