After being handed an envelope by her human female drone lusus (and spending the subsequent fifteen minutes trying to open it), she finds herself with her proper body- and, more importantly, her vision- back

[Terezi's looking at her with great interest. her voice is certainly familiar, but it's her flavor that's intriguing. it takes her a moment to register the question.]

I think they do normal boring human things. They smell fucking awful, though!

They do? I didn't know that! Do they need a bath?

[A pause.]

Maybe I should try smelling one.

I dunno if it'd work for you... and it's not really a bath smell! It's a terrible bloody smell.

Not the most appetising of things, are they?

Not at all. They're one of the worst living things I've ever smelled.

[Terezi continues to look a bit ill... until she gets a whiff of Charles, then her whole face lights up.] ...but you smell delicious.

[looks a little suspicious.... he doesn't recognise her just yet and strangers who tell you you smell delicious are generally to be avoided]

Thank you, I suppose, but just about anything smells better than one of those. The taste is nearly as poor.

[Just. Staring as her math homework disappears. She sure does hope someone else caught it.]

[It's the first day of school and Slugger is already bored out of his mind. He's spent much of the day popping in and out of every classroom in the hopes of stumbling upon something interesting, or at the very least, something unusual.

Board-licking is fairly unusual... until he sees who it is doing the licking. Now to make a game of this. Approaching the board, he takes a stick of chalk fresh from the box and draws a thick, powdery dot not far from Terezi's head.]

[Slugger pretty much read her perfectly, not that Terezi knows they've met before. Her eyes widen and she hops to try to reach the dot, looking rather delighted. It sure is a lot of concentrated chalky vanilla deliciousness in one place.]

[Excellent. He's already drawing another dot elsewhere on the board of the same consistency, and another, and then a heavy line extending from it to an even bigger dot. This continues on---each line more squiggly than the next---across the board.]

[Terezi can barely keep up!! It is like a synesthetic feast for her. It's a difficult thing to understand for those who haven't experienced it, but the whirl of colors and flavors has her entranced.

Eventually, she'll be wiggling around, following the trail like a trained mouse. It is delicious, okay. So delicious.]
