today has been long, it's felt as though i've been pacing in the same circle for over a month now. i feel that i've finally found the holy grail, the meaning of life, the reason breath still escapes my lips . . . true happiness. i have been unable to wash the smile off of my face for awhile now, but tonight it not only washed away but became a ( Read more... )

ok im not one to write my own entries, but i like reading other ppls lives; yours has been one of my personal faves. This entry seems to trouble me a bit. You got happiness, you said it yourself. But unless this girl katie broke your heart, whats up with the change in 'tudes? if you're holding onto sand and scared of it falling through the cracks, use your happiness (next time you have it) and use the heat from it to turn the sand into glass. glass isn't going nowhere. as for the girl, if she did break your heart then fuck her. it sux and im sorry....but if she didn't, then dont let he get away. she sounds like shes got it bad for ya, and its obviously she's got you hook, line, and sinker. thats special man.

katie in no way had anything to do with the melancholy tone of the above entry, in fact, she's the only one able to free me of that mindset. katie has been incredible, and has done nothing but make me unable to erase a smile from my face. even when my head's filled with sadness and worthlessness i cannot begin to shake the joy she's brought me. it wasn't meant to come across as "woe is me, i've had my heart broken" so i apologize if it did. everyone has bad days, last night was just one of mine, and quickly faded into a wonderful evening once i was able to speak with miss katie. there's no doubt in my mind that i've found happiness, i've just been having a few rough days, we all go through them. on a side-note, may i ask what makes my life/journal one of your favorites? thanks.

also, if you allow sand to slip between your fingers you can always reach down and pick it back up. it's much more difficult to glue broken glass back together than to recollect fallen sand. but that's just my opinion.
