I was reading the Bible Sunday and came across the story of Gideon.  I love that story because I had a pastor who preached an awesome sermon on it once that really made it come alive in my mind.  It always puzzled me that God would want Gideon to turn people away from his army who didn't meet his criteria.  It always helps me remember that it is ( Read more... )

One of my little sisters friends is going through a rough time right now. Please say a prayer for him. May this time be the breaking point where he will turn to God for salvation; hope is no where else. Amen.

Would it be crazy to take a semester off before graduating just to relax and focus and better prepare myself for my job? I could substitute during that time and hopefully just get a better grasp on exactly what I want to teach.
