[OOC] About the Vesperia movie
Because Yuri and I will take from things from the movie, I'm going to be clear about what I'm going to . . . PRETEND IT NEVER HAPPENED.
Yuri talked about what we're keeping here. Now I'm going to explain what I'm going to completely ignore.
In the game, Flynn is an orphan! We never know what happened to his parents, but what we know is that he grew up alone with Yuri. But in the movie, Flynn has a lot of ridiculous issues because he had a father who was in the Knights, disobeyed orders to save his family in some mission and got himself killed in the process. Flynn's father issues got RIDICULOUS during the whole movie and it didn't make any sense to me, because he clearly hates disobeying rules at all cost and while uh, Flynn is uptight about rules, the way they treated the whole thing is . . . stupid, to say the least. It was just over the top and it didn't make sense.
What I'm keeping is that Flynn was uptight about the rules because he thought that waiting for reinforcements was a better idea than putting everyone in danger (and it could make sense that he became reckless little by little) in a suicide mission, that's all. No father issues involved. THOSE ISSUES DIDN'T EXIST. What I'm keeping is that Flynn had a father in the Knights and he died saving people, and his mother died soon after his father did because . . . Flynn is an orphan. AND I'LL HAVE TO MAKE UP HEADCANON WITH YURI, but at some point Yuri and Flynn started to live together and then later on they joined the Knights.
I think that's all. Thoughts? Also, I can notice the boobs better than Yuri. :)
