I'm feeling wonderful, but it's 12:42 and I can't sleep. I didn't sleep THAT long after ECT. My mood has drastically improved, I'm not getting headaches after ECT anymore, and I have quite a bit of energy. I think I'm starting to feel somewhat normal again. And it's odd to feel better. I suddenly want to do things, be around people, get out of bed in the morning. It's for me to understand why Daniela is so anti-ECT. As my pdoc she's letting me go through with it, but she doesn't seem to see the point of it. I have ECT in the morning. Off to yet another week of headaches and early wake ups. Tomorrow is treatment number 3. and by the end of this week I'll be almost half way done with the ECT. First I had to fill out all this paperwork, then wait forever, then get called back to unit, wait for a long time again, then they did the EKG but had all sorts of problems and the elctrodes caused me to have an allergic reaction.
