A week ago, I was so lonely I could barely stand it. I was upset because out of the people I truly expect things from, a few disappointed me.. one for the last time. And as the first journal entry I'm making in 2010, it's going to be about a year when journaling just didn't fit into my life for whatever reason. So today, after nearly 4 years almost to the day, the US came forward and told us all they found Matt Maupin's remains. In a way it's sad.. His parents, and a lot of other people in this community, have held onto hope they would find him alive for four years.. And in one fell swoop of a phone call, all hope was gone. So yesterday, right before I woke up for work, Katie texted me to tell me she was in labor and at the hospital! I went to work, excited all day, and then after work, around 7, I headed up to the hospital! She looked so tired.. So did Luke! I have known since I was a little girl that I wanted to be married in June. (I got lucky--George and I started dating in June!) After my first time seeing 7 Brides for 7 Brothers and hearing the song, "June Bride" I just felt like the saying was true: If you're married in June, you'll be a bride all your life.
