Thought about you yesterday. Turns out there was an extra space in the workshop you mentioned eons ago. Were you there?

Andrew's? Was an awesome course--didn't know he was running it again, though.

Still trying to absorb everything I learned from him. Alas, one of the things I got from it was a dramatic increase in awareness of my own self-destructiveness and its sympathetic affect on those with like tendencies choosing my company.

As you know, I have no problems being a catalyst in bringing about a storm rather than living under clouds, but self-destructive behaviour that isn't productive and for a healthy cause is just solipsistic wankery (thank you, parsifal). And worse if, through your negligence, you become a ... well, whatever the opposite of a pillar of strength is. (Broken crutch?) As a result I could not, in good conscience, remain in situations where I may be leaned on and the result be more pain than help.

So, no.

There's a tear in my beer
Cause I'm cryin for you, dear
You are on my lonely mind
Into these last nine beers
I have shed a million tears
You are on my lonely mind
I'm gonna keep drinkin until I'm petrified
And then maybe these tears will leave my eyes
There's a tear in my beer
Cause I'm crying for you dear
You are on my lonely mind

Sweet irony indeed!

On a tangent from this, have you heard the acoustic version sung by Chris Cornell?

No, I haven't.
