Usually when I grab a grilled chicken burger from the coffee truck it comes with a little side of gravy for the fries.

Three steps back.

That was the curse I blessed myself. I wanted to see everything. But there's not much to see because I'm not there.

Now I take a step forward.

Guess the blood was pumping pretty loud in my ears when I got to work. After having a cigarette and talking to an old courier friend on delivery, I went in, passing a clerk with a customer on the way.

What they said: "... and it will cost a lot."

What I heard: "Ran, you little cosmonaut."

Record time biking to work this morning, didn't even count the number of buses I'd passed - But 40 minutes!? Fucken' clocks. You're all Squid-Clocks, telling naught but lies. I blame you for my distorted, impaired sense of time ( Read more... )
