I just wanted you to know, that you have my upmost support and respect.

As a male, I can only imagine what you are going through.

Just know that even though we have never met, and I can only assume will never meet, you would have to be one of the strongest people I know.

I was turned onto your lj by throwingstar DNA's post. I am a 46 year old divorced female and have been a single parent to one daughter most of my life. You are one courageous individual to splatter your thoughts about this situation all over the web. More than anything, tho i don't know you, i wish i could be near you on the 30th to hold your hand and try to express to you my sympathy for your torment and fear. you are anything but a boring writer. your prose speaks directly to your intelligence and sincerity. i wish for you happy and divine days in your future. you and your story are much appreciated by this reader.

I was also linked from the same post. I agree with the person under whom I'm commenting -- your writing is pretty far from boring. A lot of the material I've read on abortion recently has a very detached, scientific tone, and doesn't really take on a sense of personality. This is a very personal journal. In a very public place. I'm quite surprised you haven't recieved more flame, really, unless you're keeping a lot of comments screened or have an inbox full of crap (though you haven't anywhere given your email address

You know, I think that actually cements a lot of my fear that I'm having over formerfetus having her abortion. My friend had one, locally provided by Planned Parenthood, and they apparently didn't get everything (I believe she had a D&C, and I *know* she had to go back to have another one several weeks later because of the clotting). The hospital was INCREDIBLY rude to her...they basically refused to attend to her
