spotting

i woke up today with something that i can only define as a "hangover" but it wasn't even similar. i had three drinks over the course of 8 hours last night, slept for seven hours, and drank tons of water. i had no headache, but constant nausea. i imagine this is what vertigo feels like. as my day progressed, it subsided, but i could barely keep my ( Read more... )

I wouldn't listen to anyone here, I'd follow your gut and see a doctor/clinician you trust. It's very easy to say, "not a big deal" when it's someone else. The PP where you have your abortion scheduled may be able to get you in.

Good luck. I'm another person who supports you 100%.

I second the comment about not just writing it off--lots of things in pregnancy can be normal, or they can be a sign that something's wrong. The above comment about implantation happening about where you're at would only be accurate if you were talking about the time from your last missed period rather than from the date of conception. Besides, if it hadn't implanted yet, you wouldn't know you were pregnant.

As far as the possibility that it's actual morning sickness, I started having some nausea at about 4 weeks (past conception), and at 6 weeks was constantly miserable and throwing up all the time. So yes, you are probably already at the stage where your body will make you pay extra for putting alcohol into it.

I had spotting too, they told me it was the implanting of the fetus.

I do want to apologize. Me saying that you dont deserve to be a mother is wrong. I have always thought it should be a mothers choice to have an abortion IF medical reasons arose, or the pregnancy was the outcome of rape...something along those lines. But in the long run you are thinking about your child and if you think that its not time for you to be a mother then so be it.
It just blew me away with some of the things that you had mentioned. And I, like everyone else added their opinion.

Just a little clarification: fetuses don't implant, embryos do.

Good luck :)

I think its wrong for anyone to judge you for what you choose to do.
To me, its more wrong to bring a child into this world with parent(s) that arent ready/cant afford/dont want to look after a child than to have an abortion.

Being a guy I doubt my opinions are as valid, but I hope all goes well.
