I got my Wordpress journal back up on my site, and will be posting there from now on. Though I may lose the conveniences of LJ (friends, avatars, etc.), I will gain the ability to customize everything. So go! What are you waiting for?

The day after the TR42 meetup, I went to yet another party. My classmate Tatyana celebrated her birthday yesterday, and I was there to capture a few select moments of the evening.

So I post on this forum called The Root 42, which is basically a bunch of young graphic designers bullshitting about everything. It was a very hectic but eventful week. With having to work a full-time schedule last week (and this week too! bummer!) and school final projects 1-2 weeks away, I'm surprised I haven't exploded yet. Fortunately, Patty (whose schedule is just as insane as mine) and I somehow managed to squeeze in a few events...

I've added some extra stuff to my portfolio. I finally got around to taking pictures of my packaging and print assignments. I've also changed the typeface from Myriad Pro to Univers, which I like a lot better.

Now that I'm nearing the end of my 1st year of design school, I'm looking for an internship. In order to do so, many companies require online portfolios, which I previously did not have... until now! I love Scrabble. I haven't played it in such a long time, so I had a blast last night when I went to Brandon and Heather's place and played Scrabble. I was in some sort of Scrabble zone because kept getting good tiles when I drew and good spaces for some really choice words.

This last Thursday, Patricia and I took a day trip to Portland, OR. She had only been there once before, and I was a first-timer, so finding our way around was quite a task.
