Well, not much new has progressed in my meager life. All I seem to do anymore is go to work, play WoW, and sleep. Occasionally Ill watch a movie, but the completion of a VERY lengthy goal in WoW (one that has lasted 10+ months) is nearly at hand, so I have escalated my play time in order to get there! Long time no write. No surprise since my work schedule has yet to let up one bit. Currently the pattern seems to be two weeks solid of work, followed by threats to upper management of needing to get some sleep, all ending in two whole days off in which I am still called and begged to come into work. So, to make a long story short I woke up Sunday morning to go to work to find out that my jaw was sore. It was like someone sucker punched me there...but no one actually did. Monday I notice that there is a SLIGHT inflammation of the parotid gland (as I later discovered its name), a gland that is behind the jaw and just below the ear. Tuesday ( Read more... )

How long can one survive on nothing? How long does ones will to live stand strong, when that very will is all that keeps a person alive. How long till the weight of frustration, disappointment and failure crush the motivation to continue to deal with it.
