Dad just realised that if he goes with the Nowleses to the Malfoy Snowball thing that he'll be leaving Gilly and me alone for Christmas Eve until he finally gets home and we go to the midnight Christmas service. Now we're both of age -- far past it really, can't believe Gilly's eighteen now -- but apparently we can't be trusted
