Moving Saturday...
Can't wait! So many things I never even bothered to unbox - like our books. But finally we'll have the space to set up things like bookshelves. Fancy. And maybe I can build a vocal booth... -
An Overheating Car, Singing a Lease, Losing Glasses
Today's events were pretty funny.
So our new landlord lives in Mill Valley, which is North of San Francisco over the bridge. She wasn't gonna be in San Francisco for a while, so I reserved a City Car Share car for us to drive to meet her at her home. It was a Mini Cooper. We grabbed the car and drove up. Got the keys!
We'll be visitng Sheryl's parents in Calgary until the 12th, but once we get back we'll be moving in! Shame we won't get a chance to see the fireworks from our new deck... bet it's a fantastic view. -

Gin Tasting at Jim & Kristin's House
Charlie's friends hosted a BBQ and gin tasting at their place. We brougth two gins - a local one called "Blade" and Hendrick's. After going through the rounds of about six different gins Hendrick's came out on top. Tanqueray came in second and was actually the favorite when had with some tonic. In Sea Ranch for Sheryl's Birthday!
... with my parents in a gorgeous rented house on the pacific ocean! Had fun looking at art, enjoying the ocean, and chilling in the hot tub.
