[Voice]

[The first thing that can be heard is a strange sort of background noise. It may seem like static, but after a few moments it can be identified as squeaky hooting. As for Yuan? He doesn't sound amused.]

How the hell do you drive away pesky birds without killing them?

[Anyone who happens to be out in the village can see Yuan ( Read more... )

[Sup bff. Kratos is leaning against the wall and happens to see Yuan passing by. Of course, this means he sees the owlet obsessing over his hair.

That twitch at the corners of his lips indicates that he's trying desperately not to laugh.]

[Hm... Should Yuan pause and engage in conversation with Kratos, which will undoubtedly lead to mockery? Or should he keep walking and give Kratos the pleasure of knowing he's running away from a confrontation? Difficult decision.

Pausing for conversation it is. Just ignore the bird, Yuan, just ignore it...]

Kratos.

Yuan.

[He eyes the owlet.]

It seems you've gained another companion.

Of course. I'm just a magnet for friends.

[He quickly waves a hand over his shoulder to shoo the owlet away from his hair.]

Asking them nicely usually work the best.

This particular pest doesn't seem to want to listen.

Really?

Is it saying why not?

It's too young to even have a proper attention span.

[Background owl gives an offended hoot, but not much else.]

[Hold on, he's laughing. Laughing way too hard.]

Birds beating you down now, Yuan?

[Oh, how he hates you.]

Who said it's beating me down? It's annoying, nothing more!

[Sorry, he hasn't forgotten the jabs you made at him.]

It's clearly not allowing you to function right.

[At least an owl stalker isn't as bad as a "guy who wants revenge because you killed him" stalker.]

I'm functioning just fine! I just want it to stop chattering in my ear!

You send them back to Albert, of course.

This little beast belongs to Albert?

I can't be sure, but I do know that he's fond of housing cute little forest animals in his coat. He'd probably be grateful.

[Out for a ride on my horse. Yep. That's totally what Albert's doing.

It's not every day that he sees Yuan out and around the village. ...It's also not every day he sees Yuan getting attacked by a familiar-ish flying fluffball.]

[Just the man Yuan needed to see. Albert can thank his little bro for ratting him out, but for now, he gets to deal with an irritated half-elf. Approaching is a go. See that look in his eyes? He means serious business.]

[Definitely serious business, Yuan. You certainly look it with a bird chasing after your head.]

Hectic afternoon, Yuan?

[action] fortunefail September 22 2009, 21:36:43 UTC
Obviously.

[As he comes to a halt in front of Albert's horse, the owlet flies up behind him to settle on his shoulder and gives a soft squeak in greeting. By now, Yuan's become so tired of trying to get rid of the little bird, he doesn't even bother to try and shoo it off again.]
