I read a 300-page book about bull fighting yesterday. Today, my philosophy teacher wore a t-shirt printed with the front page of "The Onion". Hemingway is a male chauvinist pig. I want to change my journal. So far, I have only figured out how to change the color ... Lauren did all the other fancy stuff for me.

I have been thinking lately about the little things in life that we appreciated so much more when we were younger. I remember how much I used to love the smell of wet asphalt, or lying in long, free, over-grown grass. Life was so full of mystery and adventure before. So, I haven't done this in a long long while... I just got back from a two-week journalism camp at NBC studios. It was amazing and awesome and amazing and I loved it. So, if you look back into the archives of this journal, you'll find that almost exactly a year ago today, my car was stolen. My crappy 1991 Saturn, which I love very dearly, don't get me wrong.
