why i hate LA, #22573

my first day back.

the boyf had to be at work at dawn, so he's now asleep at 8:30. all my friends are "in for the night". it's 8 fucking 30! ALL of them. (we're talking all 12 of them -- this is LA, and i'm still new here).

it's 8:30!!!!!!!

i am, most likely, and most ashamedly, going to a movie by myself.

no, it is, i'm sure. i meant more that it was my 1st day back in 10 days and already, not even 24 hours on west coast soil, was i going to a movie by myself.

but i do it all the time here. considering LA barely gets any art films (for instance, half the shit playing in NY not only isn't here, but isn't coming -- control room opens next month, tho) i have to usually go to those by myself -- most of my friends would rather see riddick. stupid la.
