What you are...is the furthest thing from a failure. People criticize when they are jealous, so take no mind to them. The most important thing is to just remember that YOU know how it is, and that's the only person that you really need to please; because people will always have their opinions and nonsense to throw into any situation. It's like the too many cooks in the kitchen analogy...now is the time where you have to be like "get the F*** out of my kitchen, cause we're cooking this shit my way!" At this point encouragement is KEY, and you don't need people being ridiculous, because when it comes down to it, you're going either way. They should be encouraging success and happiness, not taking shots and bets on you coming back. All I have to say is, WHEN you succeed, just look over your shoulder, and give them that amazing cynical smerk you do oh so well...and that's all that
