It's like some girls, I suppose, at first sight you're not sure if they look that good, but after a few minutes it gradually dawns on you that they're fucking beautiful... photos are no different sometimes.

thanks jim. yeah, without a tripod its hard to make things like that sharp (cause of camera motion), but because the sparkelers (and lights of moving traffic) are so bright, they left trails on the ccd (like the super cliche "cars on highway" pictures)
