last night i was sitting on a large box by the side of a road in the country. across the road you were getting out of your car and some dogs were running up to you. i thought they must be your dogs because it was your house. then you opened the passenger-side door and a dog wearing platform sneakers got out. i thought that must be your dog, too. in the road in front of me a woman started to tap dance so i watched her for a while. when i got bored and turned to watch you again, you were walking up to me. you asked me if i had seen the bison. i looked behind me and there was a corral in which animals that weren't bison running in circles. i turned back to you and said yes. then the alarm clock went off.

cheers to that. i'm sure i don't know a fraction of greg's friends, because he was as prolific with the love as he was with anything else, but he and i had a great time in college and i had a fantastic time keeping tabs on his life afterwards.
inspirational says it, but doesn't really begin to cover it at all.
cheers to greg and all of you who knew him. good luck with the rest of it. ben
Well I was really hoping this was a mistake. I loved Greg; he was a tremendous artistic (and musical and...) influence on me and our friends, especially in college. Brilliant creativity, a complex and beautiful person. I've had ten pieces of his lovely ceramics, which he generously gave me, gracing my windowsills for years; I'll keep them there. To the Hardwick family, thank you and I send you my most sincere condolences. Joyce
Greg was my classmate and my friend. If anyone has any information on his service please let me know. Please reply to ktplat@northwestern.edu Thank you. Peace be with you too.

Hello. This is Greg's roommate and close friend, Burt. I didn't visit here much, and I didn't realize the scope of friends that he had that I didn't even know about. I'm glad that he knew all of you

greg and the dutch were one on fenway park's first friends in the sf bay area music scene. one of my favorite shows i've ever played was at edinburgh castle with four minute mile, us, royal dutch and the nervous rex. we're on tour in new mexico right now, but still in shock.
we'll miss you greg, and so will the dogs down at SPCA. thanks for everything
