Greg- You have left behind a rich legacy of music, art, and nights watching Tremors. I'm not sure I would ever have opened my heart to dogs if it wasn't for you!

Hello all.
In honor of our dearly missed friend, Kim Garrison is organizing a tribute show featuring Cast of Thousands, Kim Garrison, FourMinuteMile, Riddled with Guilt, Fenway Park, Second String Heroes, They Seem Alive, and the Audrye Sessions. This is tentatively set for Tues, Oct 21 at the Tongue'n'Groove in San Francisco (which is where I and FourMinuteMile actually first met Greg), http://www.tongueandgroovesf.com.
There will be music and celebration of Greg's life and legacy. I will post more details here as they're made clear, or anyone is welcome to email me for details, mhyk@hotmail.com or fourminutemile2001@yahoo.com.
will miss you so.greenrockrOctober 12 2003, 23:28:52 UTC
dear greg,
ever since i heard of your passing i tried to convince myself that i was just misreading what happened. i guess it is true, although a part of me is still in denial. today i prayed in church and i wondered why you had to leave us so soon. i imagined you up there in heaven playing music with all the angels up there...sharing all your talents with them. i got a little jealous at them becos now they'll get to laugh at your silly ways, and learn about all your talents and...just get to have you up there. i really hope you are doing okay up there. i'll miss your random talks, and the smiley faces you would leave as comments on my journal. thank you for your sweetness.
10/14: Tuesday Gathering in Emeryville, CA

Hello All,
Greg's parents and sisters will be in town tomorrow, Tuesday the 14th - we're planning a get together at Kevin's in Emeryville so that they have a chance to meet all his friends and musical buddies here in CA. They want to learn more about his life here in East Bay - it will give them a chance to hear all our favorite Greg stories (at least the clean ones). No need to bring anything in particular - just yourselves.
Where and When:
7 pm at 1430 62nd at Hollis in Emeryville.
From the city, take bay bridge to 80, take 1st emeryville exit AKA Powell St.
Rt onto Powell, through 1st light, over hump, left at 2nd light, this will be Hollis.
North 3 to 4 blocks, park on Hollis near 62nd.
Goto NW corner of intersection, the glass door next to the big green freight elevator door. Buzz Kevin Weber, # 07 I believe, or call 510.655.4839.
See you all here tomorrow. Any questions - please call Kevin at the number above.
In the desert I saw a creature, naked, bestial, Who, squatting upon the ground, Held his heart in his hands, And ate of it. I said: "Is it good, friend?" "It is bitter- bitter," he answered; "But I like it Because it is bitter, And because it is my heart."
