Before I....found myself here, the city I was looking after was being plagued by a demonic mist. It was just so horrible- it sapped everyone's energy and placed a heavy weight on our souls. The monsters that threatened our homeland of Nippon were barely held at bay.

I suppose I had always expected them to come for me, being the Queen's regent and all, but to act so suddenly- ah, there I go, rambling on again.

That is a relief, at least. Could you say the same for evil beings or spirits? I haven't sensed any, but if they aren't nearby then that means nothing.
