Can someone name a few PC or PS2 rpgs that are actually GOOD? I havent played a decent 'new' rpg since 2001 when i played FFX to death :o

so yeah, i know i've got gaming geeks on this flist! tell me some titles :O

GOLDEN SUN FOR GBA.

Most people compare it to FF7 in terms of graphics and system. And instead of Materia you get cute little Djinni. :3

i have suikoden 5 to try out .. i was told digital devil saga is pretty good too :X chrono cross (though its old and you might have already played it, but we never got it in europe so i had to wait till someone with a chipped PS2 could let me play) IS GREAT too.

and try final fantasy tactics advance for gba, while we are at it :) it's really nice too.

I have Shin Megami Tensei: DDS burned :3 i like it.
i dont have a mod chip but i have the next best thing.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (PS2)
the Grandia series (1 for PSOne), (2 for PS2), (3 for PS2)
If you want old school gaming action, Lunar (the old RPG for SegaCD) has a port on the GBA (although the pretty cut-scenes aren't there, it's still a fun game).

there's also lunar: eternal blue and lunar: silver star story complete for psx, if i'm not mistaken :D
and grandia 1 was a great game, but very easy towards the end. the final boss only hit me once, it kinda bothered me. :S
