also, i'm going to have to take a controversial position and say that save for a few songs i enjoy, the new album isn't all that great. and it seems like the album is more like the moon and antarctica, which wouldn't signal any sort of evolution, but a return to some sort of security, past (perceived) greatness, and a hope for lots of record sales, if you will. and i will.
i suppose, and some of the songs i think will grow on me... i do think that the moon and antartica was a evolution and like the similarites to that album... i guess this is not their sgt pepper or their paul's boutique or anything too off the beaten path of the modest mouse sound... but for that i am pleased because i thik it differs to some extent from earlier records and shows some growth in their arrangement of sound, i think you are right tho' and i hope they can hear the ca-ching of the registers
i didn't see them last weekend, i wanted to but think they'll play again soon and will catch them then, i was busy being drunk last weekend
i gotta go now because in a moment bush will be on tv finally *******ing the nation about a ghastly week in a fucking mess of a war and so i will go watch him yap and make an ass of himself and this country and get myself riled up
