plus, it's not incredibly professional to come back to work at a legal office with ripped nylons.

The thoughtful partner would have a new pair of nylons, in his mistress's size, waiting for her at the end of their romp. Although, perhaps K enjoys the not-so-subtle hint of sex that the freshly ripped nylons provide.
