Foxy's Summer Holiday Part 2.

I did that yesterday - drove down to Hayling Island, spent the day on the beach, lying around, watching the waves (and trying not to get pebbles up my bum!) I need to get out in the countryside more often - maybe come down and annoy you ;)

You're crazy - you know that? If I'd come from that far down in deepest, darkest, lovely old Devon I would never go anywhere near London.

Are you getting any rain out West, by the way? Mother (Lives so far out in Cornwall she's in danger of falling into the Atlantic.) says there's rain predicted and I am getting seriously anxious further down and off the coast on the Isle of Wight. I've spent forever raising a carnivorous plant from a tiny little green shoot of a thing, you see, and now she's thriving and sporting some serious pointy toothed insect traps. Only trouble is the bitch is a fussy eater and has to have pure rain water, so I'm hanging out on my balcony watching clouds, hoping they turn into the correct species of cumulus and holding out a salad bowl to catch any potential rain.

I'm very glad I did move to London, because now when I come back to Devorn, I appreciate all these things I used to ignore. Plus the hustlers are cheaper in London. I heard somewhere.

There were a few drops of rain in the air earlier this morning and it's started to cloud over. The over-bronzed tart on GMTV said there'd be a bit of stormy showery action later on today in the South of England, so keep an eye out.

I've tried to raise many a Venus fly trap myself and I know how difficult they can be. Get some plant food with lots of nitrogen in them - they love that. Try a rain dance too!

Good luck, chicky. x
